Harold Geurtjens (trumpet)

Harold Geurtjens was born in Ospel (NL) and studied at he conservatory of Tilburg. Harold has studied with Theo Wolters and Ruud Visser. He has performed with the Philips Symphony Orchestra, Limburgs Fanfare Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Orchestra St.Michaël of Thorn. As Jazz/Blues trumpeter he performed with Eric Vloeimans, ElectroPhonics, Jazzminded. Harold is currently principal trumpet player in the Royal Dutch Wind Orchestra, and Euregion Brass – Wind & Percussion Orchestra. Ralph Henssen (trumpet)

Ralph Henssen studied trumpet at the Rotterdam Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory in The Hague with Ad van Zon and chamber music with Theo Mertens at the Royal Flemish Conservatory of Music in Antwerp. Henssen has a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Eindhoven Technical University and a PhD in musicology from Utrecht University. The subject of his PhD thesis was 'Ship’s trumpeters and drummers in the sixteenth, seventeenth, and eighteenth centuries in the Netherlands.'

In 2016, he published a biography (177 pages) in Dutch about Marinus Komst (Het ging hem glad af, ISBN 978-90-9029506- 0).

Dr. Joseph Montelione (trumpet) 

Currently assistent Professor at the University of Florida where he teaches the trumpet.He has been a professor at Rhodes University and a clinician for the Los Angeles Philharmonic providing informative, creative and fun educational performance programs. He serves as a member of the artist faculty for the National Trumpet Competition and continues to serve as a performing artist-educator for Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Twin Lake, MI. As an orchestral trumpeter, he has performed with the Moscow State Radio Symphony, Alabama Symphony and Washington Symphony Orchestra.

Dr. Jack Munnecom (horn)

studied at the Conservatory Maastricht in the hornclass of Willy Bessems, Will Sanders and Erich Penzel, where he earned his degrees in music performance and teaching in 2004. He had masterclasses and private lessons with Radovan Vlatkovic, Hermann Baumann and Frank Lloyd. He has held principal horn positions at the Royal Dutch Wind Orchestra, Netherlands Students Orchestra, and played as section horn in the Philips Symphony Orchestra , the Bayreuth Festival Youth Orchestra, the Netherlands Youth Orchestra and the New York Pops Orchestra. 

He performed in concerthalls like Carnegie Hall New York,
the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, KKL Luzern and Konzerthaus Berlin.

He was Contributing Artist at the International Horn Symposium in Los Angeles, CA (2015) , Ithaca, NY (2016) and Ghent, Belgium (2019).
Jack Munnecom holds a PhD in Musicology from Utrecht University.

He is a member of the Historical and Archaeological Society Limburg.

Jack plays on instruments made by Gebr. Alexander Mainz and Herbert Fritz Knopf.

Denis Jiron (trombone)

Denis Jiron is a native of Los Angeles, California. He attended the famous Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and continued on to receive his BM from California State University, Northridge and his MFA from the California Institute of the Arts under James Miller (Assoc. Principal Trombonist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic). He also studied at Staatliche Musikhochschule für Musik Trossingen, Germany under Abbie Conant and later at the Hochschule in Mannheim, Germany. He enjoys a widely inclusive career in which he plays Alto, Tenor, and Bass Trombones, Bass Trumpet and Tenor Tuba. His varied abilities and interests have led him to play with a wide array of artists including: Earth Wind and Fire, Kanye West, Queen Latifah, Stevie Wonder, Tito Nieves, Eddie Santiago, the American Idol Orchestra, the Voice Orchestra, the Budman/Levy Orchestra, and the Sapporo Symphony. Mr. Jiron has held the positions of Principal Trombone in the Riverside County Philharmonic (CA) and 2nd/1st Trombone in the Hofer Symphoniker (Germany). Mr. Jiron has been on faculty at California State University Los Angeles and CSU San Bernardino. For two years, beginning in 2017, he was appointed acting 2nd Trombone in the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Most recently Denis has moved to East Lansing to work on his doctorate degree at MSU. He is principal trombone with the Midland Symphony Orchestra and Jackson Symphony Orchestra. Denis is a Bach performing artist.

Hans Wouters (trombone)
studied at the Kreato Academy of Music with Jan Koolen, where he started on the euphonium. After switching to trombone he was principal trombone with Harmonie St. Lucia Neeritter. Hans is since many years principal tenorhorn/trombone with the Original Maaskapelle Wessem. He made several radio- en CD recordings with this ensemble. He plays on a Vincent Bach trombone.

Rob Geurts (tuba)
was born in Ittervoort and studied at the conservatory of Tilburg and Enschede, where he graduated with a master of arts in 2008. Rob has studied with Joost Smeets, Piet Joris, Hendrik-Jan Renes and Bernard Beniers. He has performed with the Philips Symphony Orchestra, Dutch Student Orchestra and Brass Band Limburg, and is currently tuba player in brass quintet ‘ItterBrass’ and tuba quartet ‘Tubaphonic’. Since 2003 he has been tuba player with the Fanfare Band of the Royal Netherlands Army Mounted Regiments. 
He is conductor at the Musikverein Haaren (Germany).
